TOPIC: THE STATE OF THE SACRAMENTO COURT AND JUDICIARY: 2023 AND BEYOND

SPEAKERS: Presiding Judge Michael Bowman & Supervising Civil Judge, Judge Steven Gevercer

Judge Bowman and Judge Gevercer will provide an update of the current Covid-19 protocols, trial procedures, the status of getting civil trials out and the changes made to the law and motion calendars.  In addition, the judges will announce the latest civil department judicial assignments, talk about budgetary and administrative issues, and inform you about the status of the new courthouse.  The judges prefer a question-answer format.  This is a unique opportunity to obtain an insider’s view of the workings of the Sacramento County Superior Court.

This luncheon will be held in-person at 58 Degrees & Holding located at 1217 18th St, Sac, CA 95811.

MCLE:  Credit has been approved with the State Bar of California for 1 hour of General credit.  Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider. CCTLA will report to the State Bar your actual time spent in attendance at the program.  It is up to each attendee to report to the State Bar if you only attended a portion of the seminar.
