The speakers will discuss the law that has developed since Howell and cover strategies for proving and recovering the fair value of the cost of medical care whether at the claims stage, mediation or trial.  The topics covered will include the legal and evidentiary issues raised when seeking recovery of bills paid by health insurance, bills on a lien, HMO and capitated charges, and future medical expenses, and countering common defense strategies to minimize recovery of these damages.
